About
Kan Ya Makan is a multimedia project initiated and maintained by Qorras. It aims to document and map queer experiences in public spaces in Lebanon and the region. Through a series of workshops, an interactive online map and on-site interventions, the project hopes to explore the interaction between bodies and public spaces, focusing on issues related to queerness, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, intimacy, mobility, discrimination, violence, resistance and pleasure.
Check out the announcements tab on the bottom of the map for news about upcoming workshops and on-site interventions.
